Data deletion instructions
How to ask for your data to be deleted, whether you are a showroom’s customer, a member of staff or an account owner.

How to make a request
- Email hello@gcccardeals.com with the subject “DealersGPT data deletion request”.
- Name the showroom, and give the account email or WhatsApp number concerned.
- Say whether you are a customer, a member of staff or an authorized owner of the showroom.
- Explain which information you want removed.
Do not send passwords, access tokens, sign-in codes, card details or identity documents. If we need to confirm who you are, we will tell you how.
Which path applies to you
You are a customer of a showroom
The showroom controls your data, because it holds the record of your conversations and purchases. You can ask the showroom directly, or write to us and we will pass your request to it.
You work at a showroom
Your employer controls the records of the work you did, such as conversations you handled. Ask your employer first. Write to us about your own login and sign-in records.
You own a showroom’s account
Write to us from the account owner’s email address. When a subscription ends you have 30 days of read-only access to export your records. Deletion after that is not automatic, so send a request.
You connected WhatsApp or Meta
Disconnecting the number, or removing the app’s access in Meta Business Integrations, stops that access. It does not by itself delete records already held, so send a request as well.
What happens next
- We review the request, confirm your authority where needed, and coordinate with the showroom responsible for the records.
- We answer within 30 days. The answer explains what can be removed and any records that must remain.
- Deletion is not automatic or same-day.
Records that may remain
- Sales, accounting, consent, security and audit records that a showroom or the law requires to be kept.
- Backups, which are kept for 35 days and age out on their own. Individual records are not edited out of an existing backup.
- Copies held by messaging providers such as Meta and Twilio under their own terms.
